Superintendent Ramone Ramone of Thaba Tseka police station says the deceased who are reported to staying in Maseru Ha-Makhoathi and Ha-Abia were on their way to Linakaneng when the accident occurred leaving one of them dying on the spot while the second one died later at the nearby health centre.

Ramone showed that it is suspected that the accident might have been caused by over-speeding as the road is a newly constructed gravel.

At least 4.4 million people in 95 countries are stateless or of undetermined nationality. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in its annual report marking the 9th anniversary of its #IBelong campaign said, the actual figure globally is believed to be significantly higher, given the relative invisibility of stateless people in national statistical exercises.
