The filth in the town of Maputsoe has appeared to be a great challenge that needs an urgent attention especially the dumping site that is few kilometers from town.

This dumping site is said to be posing a huge health risk to students and teachers of one of the local schools that is situated very close to this dumping site.

According to the principal of Maputsoe Community high school Mrs. ‘MaItumeleng Makhaola, at times the smoke that comes from that dumping site does force them to close the schools for days.
Speaking from this dumping site the minister of Local government and Chieftainship affairs Hon. Habofanoe Lehana showed a need of securing another dumping with well managed waste management.
