The Libyan charge D’affairs in Lesotho His Excellency Dr. Abdulhafed MM. Jaber says the reports that people of African descent are being smuggled to their last stop in Europe not as immigrants but as slaves are not being taken lightly by the Libyan Government of national accord.

Jaber said this today during the media briefing held in Maseru, where he indicated that the Libyan authorities have ordered the competent authorities to open a comprehensive investigation into these allegations under Libyan laws and to reveal their truth to the local and international public opinion and to also prosecute and punish those responsible.
