The Lesotho Revenue Authority Board (LRA) has lifted the suspension of Mr. Thabo Khasipe, the LRA Commissioner General with immediate effect.
The chairman of LRA Board Mr. Robert Likhang says on the 6 th February this year, the previous LRA board took a resolution to suspend from work the Commissioner General- Mr. Thabo Khasipe and that what triggered the suspension was alleged at the time to be an impending investigation into his contractual obligations. Likhang says the suspension of Khasipe threatened the stability of the organization which for many years has been referred to as a model of excellence in terms of performance.
Meanwhile, LRA Commissioner Mr. Thabo Khasipe mentioned that there are a lot of challenges that lies ahead of them and that their objective is to further uplift the company and ensure that the economy of the country grows.
