Lesotho Electricity Company LEC has handed over a cheque worth M70, 000 to the Lesotho Red Cross in Maseru today in support for this society to reach the communities through its humanitarian services. When handing over this gift the LEC acting managing director Mr. Tankiso Motšoikha said this gift is in response to the plea of support done by LEC.

When handing over this gift the LEC acting managing director Mr. Tankiso Motšoikha said this gift is in response to the plea of support done by LEC.
From the Lesotho Red Cross program’s director Mrs. ‘Matšepo Moletsane said this money is going to make a huge difference in the great work being done by their society in various areas.
According to Moletsane, unlike in the previous years the Lesotho Red Cross is now accepting financial support from local organizations to work on different programs focusing on health, disaster and helping orphans and vulnerable children especially now that schools are re-opening.
