Journalist Association of Lesotho-JAL presented its submissions before the public and safety committee regarding the national commission bill 2018 meant to pave a way for establishment of the national reforms commission.

When presenting the submissions before the committee the acting president of JUL Mr. Nkoale Ts’oana said it is important for the media to take part in the reform processes.

He emphasized a need for media representative to be an individual with an expertise on the media of Lesotho and be appointed by the association.

He also said it is crucial for the media policy to be fully represented during the formation of the national commission bill 2018 as well as the national reforms commission.
