WASCO Operations and maintenance Manager Mrs. Mamathe Makhaola says Wasco is working tirelessly to correct the discolored water that has be supplied to the public since the beginning of this month.

Makhaola said the discolored water has been supplied from Metolong dam to Maseru, Roma, Teyateyaneng and Morija and has no danger to human consumption. She explained that this has been cause by the existence of Manganese and they are still working hard to ensure that it returns to its normal color and taste.

She explained that to eliminate the problem they have already cleaned all reservoirs within Metolong supply area. She therefore allayed fears that WASCO is continuing to restore the quality of water for its customers.
