DC Member Joins AD

The Democratic Congress (DC) member who is a Member of Parliament for Tele Constituency, Hon. Mothepu Mahapa joined Alliance of Democrats later on today in Parliament.

This is after Mahapa showed his intentions of crossing the floor to AD after he was sworn in as the deputy minister of Education and Training earlier today at the Royal Palace in Maseru.

Meanwhile some members of Parliament congratulated the leader of AD for an added constituency in his party.

At least 4.4 million people in 95 countries are stateless or of undetermined nationality. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in its annual report marking the 9th anniversary of its #IBelong campaign said, the actual figure globally is believed to be significantly higher, given the relative invisibility of stateless people in national statistical exercises.
