Five members of Lesotho Defense Force who are accused of three counts of murder that happened in Mafeteng in 2012, have appeared in the high court this morning.
Advocate Kao when appearing before Judge Teboho Moila for the accused number 2, 3, 4 and 5 explained that the case has been postponed numerous times for allocation of judges and also that the office of chief justice gave the impression that there are judges ready to hear the case.
Judge Moiloa said it’s uncalled for that people’s liberty is being toyed without clarity of what needs to happen.
The accused Captain Litekanyo Nyakane, Lance Corporal Khauhelo Makoae, Lance Corporal Sebilo Sebilo, Privates Ts’epo Tlakeli and Thebe Ts’epe are alleged to have killed Thabang Mosole, Monyane Matsie and Pakiso Ntala Letatabe at Ha Motanyane in Mafeteng in 2012.
The case has therefore been postponed to the 20th-24th August 2018.
