The chairperson of the parliamentary Women’s Caucus Hon. ‘Mats’epo Ramakoae says they are aware of challenges facing Basotho women and girls which includes poverty, child marriage, gender based violence and maternal death.

Meanwhile when addressing this parliamentary women caucus in Maseru on the functions of national women’s caucuses, Thoko Didiza said she hoped that Basotho women are going to work hard to make Lesotho a better place.

She also encouraged women by saying things may have gone bad with them in the past, but it is possible to build again.
