The director health services from the ministry of Health Dr. Nnyane Letsie has appreciated the United Nations Population’s Fund continual support to Lesotho’s government on maternal death whose root cause is unwanted pregnancies.

On the other hand the southern African region UNFPA director Dr. Julitta Onabanjo has shown the need to ensure that no woman dies when giving birth adding that the mortality death is in a very alarming rate not just in Lesotho but also in the region, which she says has become a great concern.
