Village Health Workers from different areas of Leribe presented their salary grievances to Leribe District Administrator, Mr. Moseme Makhele yesterday.

On behalf of the Village Health Workers Mrs. ‘Matumisang Thinyane said the District Administrator is to act as a mediator between the Village Health Workers and the Ministry of Health in terms of their salaries.

Thinyane said they have been working hard without being paid from 2015 adding that they are given more work by the Ministry of Health despite their grievances.

She indicated that according to the information they have received, they are aware that other Village Health Workers in other districts have been paid yet in Leribe not even one has been paid.
