In a bid to continue to prevent Coronavirus (COVID-19), taxi owners and drivers were sensitized on the virus to help them practice the prevention guidelines and disseminate information to their customers.

Speaking at the meeting held at Hlotse in Leribe recently, the District Administrator Mr. Moseme Makhele said it is the responsibility of District Emergency Command Centre (DECC) and the taxi owners to protect the customers.

He explained that for the reason that there has not been any case reported in the country, the guidelines in prevention have to be adhered to at all times.

In addition, Mr. Makhele further explained that despite the myths regarding the virus everyone has to be protected.

The District Administrator urged the taxi owners to air their concerns to the centre which will be passed to the National Emergency Command Centre.
