PCFM listeners this morning said the mobile court does not operate in accordance with the covid-19 regulations while on duty.

When voicing their opinions they said even though the idea of this court is to decrease back-log of cases but its work has turned into a harassment to drivers since the mobile court itself does not abide by traffic laws with issuing fines without giving them time to pay.

They said that even the money that is being fined considering the current situation where the majority of people have lost their jobs and businesses they feel that the fines are too much since the government itself has announced that it does not have money.

They also said government through the traffic department has failed to issue drivers with necessary documentation and yet the very same government through police officers issues them with fines for failure to produce such documentation upon demand.
