The late Archbishop Bernard Mohlalisi (O.M.I.) was laid to rest last Sunday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Victories in Maseru.
On behalf of the bereaved family Mr. Lefu Mohlalisi said they are grateful for the life lived by the deceased amidst the congregation society especially the Oblates of Mary the Immaculate in Lesotho for their selflessness and the love they showed their father when he was ailing.
His Majesty King Letsie III thanked God for his life and guiding him during his service in the Catholic Church and in the nation saying even as he rests, he commends him for his dedication and meritorious service he gave as a Bishop, cleric and leader and all which he gave with love.
His Grace Archbishop Tlali Lerotholi as the successor and incumbent in office said all he has is gratitude despite the sombre departure in the advent of COVID-19. He said the deceased has been his leader over the years and that he has spent most of his time as a servant and protector of the church.
Archbishop Mohlalisi was born on March 16, 1933 at Ha ‘Malijeng, Mpharane in Mohale’s Hoek district.
