A 36-year old police officer Lebusa Setlojoane from Khanyane Leribe working under the Special Operations Unit has appeared before the Quthing magistrate court charged with the murder of a 30 year old woman from Roma Ha Maama.

Police reports indicate that Setlojoane’s wife was shot by her sister who is now the victim, and it is reported that Setlojoane made threats to the victim and in February the victim was shot and killed.

The police found the gun believed to have been the weapon used in the murder and it was already sold in Mafeteng.

Setlojoane is waiting for trial in custody and will appear in court tomorrow.
