A 57 year old Moeketsi Tsiboho from Moshoeshoe II who is the Principal Protocol Officer at the Royal Palace has appeared before Maseru Magistrate Court charged with theft and fraud.
Police reports indicate that in March the suspect was given 1.5 million maloti to make travel arrangements for Their Majesties to Cuba where it was confirmed that all arrangements have been made by Cuba and the suspect did not return the money.
He was granted M1, 000 bail which he paid and will appear in court on the 24th of next month.
