The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) says it is proud of its leadership which has made sure that the soccer governing body continue with its core mandate of developing and promoting football in the country despite the challenges brought about by the novel coronavirus.
In its media statement the association’s Communications Officer, Mr. Mikia Kalati says while some organizations including sports associations have been retrenching their staff due to the financial meltdown brought by the COVID 19, LeFA has managed to pay full salaries to the secretariat throughout this difficult period, which started in March when the government of Lesotho declared a state of emergency.
LeFA leadership is delighted that it has managed to commence with the refurbishment of the Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena premises, where a new technical centre is being constructed and will soon be followed by the installation of artificial pitch and spectator seats.
