The Officer in-charge of Mt. Moorosi Police Station in Quthing, Senior Supt. Letsekang Moloi says there is progress with regard to investigations on the theft of 16 bales of class A and B wool to a tune of over M800,000 at Tsatsane wool-shed.
In response to complaints from farmers in Tsatsane wool-shed service area that Police from Mt. Moorosi Police Station are dragging their feet to arrest all suspects alleged to have stolen the wool, Senior Supt. Moloi said at least four suspects one of whom is a public servant from department of Livestock Registration and Marking Information System have been arrested in connection with the case.
He noted that the case was reported in February this year and that the suspects have already appeared before the Magistrate Court and that a procedure to get a directive from the Director of Public Prosecution had to be followed.
