The former Prime Minister Dr. Motsoahae Thabane and his wife ‘Maesiah Thabane went to the high court in preparation of trial against them which involves the murder of his estranged wife Lipolelo Thabane.
The duo went through an interview conducted by Assistant Registrar of the High Court Advocate Tebello Mokhoema who informed them that, their case has been allocated to Judge Molefi Makara and will be heard in March 2022.
A charge sheet prepared by the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions was read during the interview and according to it, Thabane and his wife are charged together with Rethabile Chakela, Seabata Lieta, Macheli Koeshe and Molefi Matima Mokatja.
The accused are facing four charges of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to kill and malicious damage to property.
