The country has for the first time congratulated the Lesotho under 17 soccer team Bahlabani for their excellent performance in the AUSC region 5 games against Eswatin.

This comes after several members of the team and support officials tested positive for Covid-19. Bahlabani played a full 90 minute match against Eswatin without any substitutions and managed to draw 1-1 in a game played at Setsoto stadium. In the same match, Bahlabani’s Seabata Tsemana was also crowned man of the match.

On the other hand, Lesotho roughly beat Botswana’s netball team 49-25 before sealing their victory by also beating Zambia 37-26 in a match played at Bambatha-tsita sports grounds.
