The minister of Finance Mr. Thabo Sofonea says deployment of 125 Lesotho Defense Force’s members to a mission in Mozambique in August last year, has been extended for another six months.

Sofonea said the decision was reached at last week’s summit in Malawi. He said the six months’ extension will be in two categories, where the first category, which is still of fighting the rebels will last until April, while category two which include civilians, police and others, is intended for peace making and peace keeping.

He said this means that LDF will remain in Moz until the end, also asking the nation to keep them in prayers.
