Lesotho Congress for Democracy-LCD has raised concern over mandatory vaccination and Police brutality on lawyers.
LCD’s deputy Leader, Mr. Tséliso Mokhosi says it is a good thing for the nation to vaccinate, however, it should not be mandatory.
Mokhosi said he was worried that mandatory vaccination may lead to death, asking whether the government will take full responsibility should that happen or the problem would remain with affected families.
He also pointed out that LCD was disappointed with the police, where they are reported to have tortured lawyers prosecuting high profile cases in the country, saying, this was obvious the commissioner of police was not interested in resolving this matter since police brutality has been continuing unabated.
He therefore pleaded with the Commissioner of police to take action now before it is too late.
