The Minister of Trade and Industry Dr. Thabiso Molapo has called on villagers whose fields will be affected during the implementation of Tau – Ts’ehla Development Trust to fully support and protect the project. Tau-ts’ehla project will include livestock rearing and crop production, Pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and a logistics hub.

Dr. Molapo said their support will contribute positively towards the wellbeing of the community as well as the country’s economic growth.

He highlighted that through the implementation of this project, majority of those unemployed, especially the youth will get jobs.

The District Administrator fo Mafeteng Mr. Motinyane Motinyane said, field owners are entitled to compensation hence the need for all stakeholders to ensure that all the logistics for the project implementation are done.

Lesotho National Development Cooperation’s Chief Executive Officer Adv. Molise Ramaili said, his corporation will ensure that land owners get compensated accordingly and that the project gets underway as expected.
