Lesotho Defense Force’s Public Affairs Office has strongly condemned social media allegations that another LDF member on a mission in Mozambique has died.

Captain Sakeng Lekola said LDF has not suffered any casualty but these are lies intended to cause confusion and that, LDF regards this as a rebellious act which in most cases results in destabilizing the country.

He urged the public not to believe anything they read on social media saying that his office is always open to provide information to those who need it.

He emphasized that their operation in Mozambique was going accordingly and that, should there be any changes in this smooth operation, the public will be informed accordingly.
