United for Change’s leader Mrs. Malichaba Lekhoaba says, she has realized that there is election hesitancy amongst voters as people have lost hope in politics.
Lekhoaba said ministers who have been elected to hold office, do as they please and abuse those offices by failing to note law breakers because they are the criminals themselves.
She said as a woman leader, she has many promises which she believes are different from other leaders’ but will give hope to the nation.
She said if elected to office, they will reduce the number of cabinet minister’s by at least 15 percent because that is where the government money is used recklessly, making an example of minister’s vehicles which she said are very expensive.
Lekhoaba also said they will reduce poverty by investing in farming. She concluded by urging Basotho to participate in the elections as their votes do matter.
