Manonyane FC was crowned the new champions of the four team tournament played at Nyakosoba Football ground yesterday.

One of the organizers Mr. Mokhosi Mohapi said Manonyane defeated Rovers 4-2 on penalties following a two all draw after regulation time while Roma Boys had beaten Mangau in the other semi-final 2-0 to proceed to the final later on the same day.

Mohapi said the attendance was promising as Manonyane as the people from Maama are affectionately known, attended the event to celebrate the inauguration of new Principal Chief of Maama,

The tournament was sponsored to the tune of M50,000 by the Naleli Funeral Planners.
