The newly elected All Basotho Convention’s Leader, Mr. Nkaku Kabi says, the never-ending infights in the party are now a thing of the past.
This, he said yesterday in his first leadership rally held at Ha Ts’iame in Qeme constituency, where he emphasized that the infighting ended at Lesotho High School a month ago, during the elective conference.
He said that their politics have to change tune and not be about rallies and fun, but that they should focus on listening to people’s grievances and working on them.
He promised to implement the policies of the government as the party leading the government saying that, decentralisation should not be on paper but should come into being.
He further assured ABC’s Members of Parliament that, they will not be victimised for supporting a certain faction during their elective conference.
The former leader of the party Dr. Tom Thabane congratulated the new leader, wished him well in this difficult journey which he said was indeed God’s calling.
