Hololo Member of Parliament Mr. Tlokotsi ‘Manyooko has defected from the All Basotho Convention -ABC to join the Democratic Congress -DC. This he did in the National Assembly today.

This was after Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Sephiri Motanyane read a letter from Mr. ‘Manyooko notifying him of his intention to dump ABC to join DC.

In the letter, ‘Manyooko said he has decided to join DC and that his membership in the new political party would start immediately after the reading of his letter in the house.

After reading the letter, Motanyane made it clear that ‘Manyooko’s crossing the floor in the National Assembly does not mean that there will be a change in the coalition of the ruling parties involving both ABC and DC.
