The Training of Trainers workshop for various people including nurses, teachers and care takers will be conducted before the launch of a campaign on Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine (HPVV).

The training has been scheduled for the second week of March. This the Ministry of Health Expanded Programme on Immunization’s Deputy Manager, Mrs. Susan Ramakhunoane said, during a one day meeting convened yesterday in Mokhotlong for the District Immunization Steering Committee.

Mrs. Ramakhunoane said the training will sensitize participants on amongst others, the behavior of the HPV Vaccine as well as its storage

The district launch is expected to be on April 19th and on that day, school girls and those who are out of school between nine and 14 years old will receive the HPV vaccine
