Lesotho’s top Assistant Referee Mr. Souru Phats’oane is among the Africa’s top match officials assigned by Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) to officiate in the upcoming Qatar 22 World Cup Play-offs, African Zone.
Lesotho Football Association’s Media Officer, Mr. Mikia Kalati said, Phats’oane who last Saturday officiated the Angolan derby CAF Champions League, has once again been paired alongside his South African Counterparts Victor Gomes and Zakhele Siwela, for the World Cup Play -offs first leg clash between DR Congo and Morocco to be played in Kinshasa, on March 25th.
Kalati said, before heading to DRC for the World Cup Play-Offs, Phats’oane and another local Rets’elisitsoe Molise will be part of the officiating team for the CAF Champions League match between South Africa’s Amazulu and Raja Casablanca of Morocco on Friday this week.
