The Lesotho Defense Force troops in Mozambique are reported to have bid farewell to their outgoing commander for the Mission Colonel T.A. Thate.
Commenting during the farewell, LDF’s Contingent Commander Lieutenant Colonel Tefo Ramosie applauded the out-going commander saying that, since the beginning of the mission Colonel Thate has been very supportive even in the most difficult situations.
Lt Col Ramosie said they shall continue with the mission even in his absence and will ensure proper cooperation and support to the incoming component’s Commander.
The outgoing Commander thanked his troops for their unwavering support and their dedication on their assignments as well as the solidarity they have displayed.
LDF’s troops were send on a SADC mission to combat terrorism in Mozambique in August last year.
