Disaster Management Authority says it is still communicating with the Lesotho High Commission in South Africa regarding the type of assistance that can be afforded all Basotho who are still alive and were affected by floods in Durban

DMA’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Makhotso Mahosi said, they have asked the High Commission to find out the number of Basotho who were affected by floods, how they were affected and in which areas so that appropriate help can be provided

She further said six more bodies are expected to arrive in the country this evening.

On the other hand, the Government Spokesperson Mr. Ts’oinyane Rapapa said, the government is incurring all the expenses for repatriation, mortuary and burials of the deceased.
