The overwhelming rate of unemployment facing Lesotho has caused a lot of Basotho to migrate to neighbouring countries with the sole purpose of seeking employment.

The overwhelming rate of unemployment facing Lesotho has caused a lot of Basotho to migrate to neighbouring countries with the sole purpose of seeking employment.

A concerned Mosotho Mr. Motsie Leloka indicated that the country is blessed with an abundance of minerals which the government needs to exploit to create employment for Basotho.

Leloka showed that it is unfortunate that there are Basotho who die at illegal mines in South Africa or even get arrested without Lesotho government finding ways of creating jobs within the country.

He also said they are waiting eagerly for who will win the 2022 general elections, as they believe that the victor will bring the much needed change in the country

This follows reports that several Lesotho nationals were arrested at illegal mines in Orkney South Africa in the past weeks
