Sisters of Dorcas association of the AME church of Lesotho will hold a two-day workshop for women in Hlotse Leribe from the 7th to 8th of next month.
President of the association Ms. Matheakoena Majara said, the purpose of the event is to raise awareness to women on issues such as human trafficking, gangsterism and fellowship.
Majara indicated that the issue of human trafficking was provoked by the rate at which Basotho women were falling victims of this crime due to COVID-19 which impacted jobs negatively.
Women will also be taught on how to identify signs of gangsterism in their children as this crime is also on the rise in the country.
