The Mafeteng Police Women Network is currently holding a series of activities to celebrate Women’s Month.
The activities which started last Wednesday with a peace march and will continue until the 26th this month, will see police women deployed in different areas to restore hope amongst the communities.
The Chairperson of the Network, Senior police woman ‘Mathabiso Matlosa said, the initiative is meant to encourage police women countrywide, to join other women in celebrating their month through various events which remind the public about their role as police women.
Senior policewoman Matlosa also showed that they will also conduct roadblocks throughout the district, to encourage road users to prevent and report all forms of abuse.
