Quarterly meetings between Ha Mabote Police and Community Policing Committees which were halted due to COVID-19 have resumed.

Ha Mabote Community Policing Committees Chairperson Mr. Habofanoe Letsie said although the meetings’ dates are yet to be identified they met last Saturday to map a way forward.

Letsie said the objective is not only to revive Community Policing Committees but to analyze their performance based on achievements and challenges they face.

He added that the meetings will create an opportunity for both parties to discuss how to address the escalating criminal activities which include armed robberry, gender based violence and murder amongst others.
