The Lesotho Defense Force has revealed that most of its operations which are aimed at fighting crime and bringing the perpetrators to the ends of justice are still a success.

LDF Public Relations Officer Captain Sakeng Lekola indicated that they will continue to mitigate crime in order to ensure that Basotho are safe and can freely live in their country without fear.

According to the Lesotho Defense Force Public Relations office the Infantry Battalion deployed on an operation at the Mokhotlong was able to confiscate 9mm parabellum, Lugor M80 with 13 ammunition,S&W Glock 23 firearm, and .38 special revolver with its magazine.

The same battalion is reported to have also assisted in extinguishing of fire which caught by the St. Peter’s church in the Mokhotlong last Sunday.
