Roma Police are concerned over the rampant killings taking place in Roma and its surroundings
This follows two murders which occurred on Saturday night at Ha Mafefooane and Nyakosoba.
An officer Commanding Roma Police Inspector Jeremane Motake says, a 33-year-old man of Ha Tsunyane handed himself over to the police on Saturday night, following a fight with another man from Tloutle.
Insp. Motake said after the fight, the deceased was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital where he was referred to Queen ‘Mamohato memorial hospital but was treated as an outpatient. It is said that, on their way back, he had complications and was returned to Queen ‘Mamohato where he was declared dead on arrival.
In another incident, a 34-year-old man of Ha Lerotholi, Berea was found dead in a donga at Nyakosoba yesterday morning, and that two men aged between 25 and 30 are already in police custody.
Insp. Motake said investigations on both cases are still continuing.
