A 51 year-old Mats’epo Ramarumo was found butchered yesterday morning at Ha Labane in Mants’onyane.

Thaba-Tseka police’s Commanding Officer Superintendent Karabo Morapeli explained that at around 2 am, the deceased went knocking at the neighbor’s door asking for help, but the neighbor who is reported to be living alone did not open but had called other neighbors to come and help.

Morapeli said that when the neighbors arrived, they saw the Ramarumo’s body on the floor  with five open wounds on her back and hands, and her head was smashed.

Supt. Morapeli said they are currently investigating this murder but that he has been informed that late on Saturday, residents had spotted the lights of a vehicle but they did not think much of them.
