Members of the senate today were briefed on integrated catchment management ReNoka at an event held in Maseru.
Speaking at that event, the deputy coordinator, Mrs. ‘Matsolo Migwi said today’s event was meant to highlight the importance and protection of catchment areas. She said as community leaders they have more influence to the society, therefore they are expected to impart knowledge they gathered from this meeting to their subjects.
Meanwhile, the president of the Senate Mrs. Mamonaheng Mokitimi thanked ReNoka for creating this platform for Senators who were also able to air their views. She said organizers of this meeting came to the right place as members of the house have a huge mandate of protecting land.
