The report shows that Basotho women aged between 25-34 have three times infection rate higher than their male counterparts.

However, Lesotho is said to have made commendable progress in the HIV response, but challenges still remain. The country still needs to reduce new HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths and address inequalities.
