Ministry of Gender and Youth, Sports, Arts, Culture and Social Development has confirmed that it will commence payment of old age pensions from Thursday this week.

According to the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Mpho Makhetha, the elderly people who will be affected by this changes, are those that were supposed to be paid from today until Wednesday.

However, she said the Ministry has already made an arrangement regarding new dates in which the elderly will be paid.

She clarified that payments will only be for May and not double payment as published on Friday.
