Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Association says it will petition Prime Minister Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane on the 21st June if government does not address their grievances.
This was disclosed by the Association’s President, Mr Motlere Thobi when addressing the media today, where he pointed that the association had on several occasions pleaded with relevant departments in particular, former Ministry of Small Business and the now Ministry of Trade, Industry, Business Development and Tourism to address their grievances to no avail.
He indicated that their grievances include the COVID 19 relief fund which the government promised Basotho businesses due to the pandemic as well as collaboration of public sector and private sector on Small Medium Enterprises bills or policies.
He therefore said they will engage on a march on the above-mentioned date if the government does not address their grievances, and they will make arrangements to go to the Prime Minister with the hope that he will respond this time.
