This was disclosed by his daughter Ms. Lerato Soulo in an interview yesterday, where she said that, her father has been ill for some time but his health deteriorated on Saturday afternoon. She said he was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

In his political life, Mr. Soulo was a strong member of Lesotho Congress for Democracy until 2006 when he left it to form All Basotho Convention alongside the then leader and close friend Dr. Motsoahae Thabane. 

In 2014, he returned to LCD and he has been with the party until his death

Soulo was born in March 1954 at Thaba-Nts’o, Ha-Tumo in Mohale’s Hoek. He leaves behind his wife and three children, two daughters and a son
