Learning robotics in today’s world of technology, can go a long way in helping students appreciate academic skills. Africa Code Week’s Robotics Trainer, Mr. Bokang Selialia said this as he addressed participants at the ongoing coding and robotics exhibition held in Maseru from Saturday.

Selialia said that problem solving, decision making, writing and reading as well as critical thinking, are some of the important academic skills students ought to learn, hence this initiative.

He said, being informed and educated on robotics is vital and cuts across different professions that include; psychology and counselling to mention but a few.

One parent, Marealeboha Boutu reiterated that, the initiative is important to their children as it helps them to explore and have a wider knowledge, also urging for more events of this nature.
