Thaba-Tseka police say, two men were gunned down and stoned to death at Ha Motsepa last weekend.

Superintendent Karabo Morapeli-the officer in charge of the Thaba-Tseka police said it is reported that, one of the deceased, who was owed money by one of the suspects, had been on the phone, arranging to meet in Thaba-Tseka, after the funeral at Mants’onyane.

Superintendent Morapeli said, the deceased-the one being owed money and the driver of their South African vehicle, were accompanied by a man and two women, who had asked for a lift to Maseru. It is said that, when they arrived in Thaba-Tseka, both the deceased went to the house, but they found only the wife, and as they waited for the male owner of the house, gunshots were heard

He said, the man and the women who were left in the car, were able to escape to the police, while the driver and the one being owed money, were shot and stoned to death by the owner and his two friends, who believed that, their friend was being attacked. Superintendent Morapeli says, three suspects have already been apprehended and investigations are continuing.
