The National Manpower Development Secretariat_NMDS welcomes its Namibian counterpart _ Namibia Student Financial Assistance Fund on its two-day benchmarking visit to the Lesotho Loan Bursary Fund

the Acting Chairperson NMDS Council, expressed gratitude that NSFAF, has chosen to collaborate with LBF, adding that  the 2 bodies are committed to serving and investing in education, while also promoting economic growth of the two countries.

On the other hand, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of NSFAF, Mr. Kennedy Kandume said, they are here to understand student funding mechanism, the legal aspect of the LBF in administering NMDS establishment; overview of higher education financing in Lesotho, issues of planning and governing.

It will further review the arrangement and collaboration with local institutes of Higher learning, and also LBF’s Reforms in student financing and sustainability model
