The King said it is Lesotho’s desire to maintain and strengthen the good relations that exist between the two countries, hence the country decided to accredit Dr. Ralejoe as Lesotho’s High Commissioner to Canada.

He said the country is confident that the new High Commissioner will be able to discharge his mission in a manner that will merit the approval of the Canadian government, further urging him to prove himself worthy of this mark of confidence that is conferred upon him.

He also said, Lesotho charges him to serve with loyalty, honour and dignity in his capacity as the High Commissioner, wishing him success in his new assignment.

On the other hand, Dr.Ralejoe accepted the responsibility bestowed to him for representing the country in Canada. He pledged to discharge the duties with which he has been entrusted by the government and further create opportunities for Basotho 

Before his appointment as Lesotho’s High Commissioner to Canada, Dr. Ralejoe was working as the Schools’ Management Advisor in the ministry of education.
