Lesotho’s High Commission in Pretoria SA has made the public aware of social media messages with which people are being told of opportunities of acquiring South African National Identity documents.

The office has notified the public that there are messages making rounds in a lot of ‘Whatsapp’ Groups that are false and are intended to rob people.

It said this matter needs legal attention and that when such a matter arises, or there has been any form of agreement or deliberations; there will be an official announcement made by the governments of both Lesotho and SA

It also urged those involved to stop such acts as they compromise the relations between the two countries.
